Shanghai Transforming is a research project, a publication edited by Iker Gil of MAS Studio and was exhibited at the Chicago Architecture Foundation and at the School of Architecture + Design at Virginia Tech.

Street lights

(This is a guest post by Alvaro Leonardo, senior designer architect at POLIFACTORY)

Since the Expo started almost six months ago, every elevated highway in Shanghai has been illuminated by these blue LED lights giving the street below a different futuristic feeling. Now, one week before the Expo ends, everyone is guessing what is going to happen to them.
